Graduation for Cohort 2

Graduation for Cohort 2

Posted 8th May 2026

Cohort 2 have now completed their House Project group sessions, and their dedication and commitment from day one has been truly exceptional. To celebrate, we stayed together at the base for a relaxed evening filled with a BBQ, awards, and lots of laughter—making the most of simply enjoying each other’s company. It was a wonderful opportunity to reflect on how far they have come as individuals and as a group. The friendships they have built are incredibly strong, and the sense of community, connection, support, and shared joy has been genuinely inspiring to witness. This group have so much potential, and we are incredibly proud of them all—they have very bright futures ahead.

Aspirational Awards Update
Aspirational Awards Update

In May, the Aspirational Awards panel awarded just over £15,000 to 19 young people across our LHPs. It was inspiring to see such a wide range of ideas, goals and determination reflected in the applications, and a privilege to support more young people as they take their next steps forward. Funding in Round 9 supported training + graduate employment scheme, equipment for a baking business and support for other businesses, sports sessions, music lessons, lifeguard course, and day trips. We have also recently completed a 3 year review of our Aspirational Awards and the impact they’ve had. Over the past 3 years, we’ve awarded over £147,000 to 138 young people (not including figures from our most recent round in May). If you would like to find out more about how to support the Aspirational Awards please get in touch.
