Gala Fundraising Dinner

Gala Fundraising Dinner

Posted 8th May 2026

Last week’s gala fundraising dinner at Katana in Peterborough, organised by Princebuild, was an absolutely fantastic evening. We were delighted to attend with four of our young people, all of whom had a truly memorable experience. The event itself was beautifully put together, full of warmth, generosity, and a real sense of community spirit. We are incredibly grateful to Princebuild for their continued support of our project and for their genuine commitment to creating opportunities and brighter futures for the young people we work with.

Aspirational Awards Update
Aspirational Awards Update

In May, the Aspirational Awards panel awarded just over £15,000 to 19 young people across our LHPs. It was inspiring to see such a wide range of ideas, goals and determination reflected in the applications, and a privilege to support more young people as they take their next steps forward. Funding in Round 9 supported training + graduate employment scheme, equipment for a baking business and support for other businesses, sports sessions, music lessons, lifeguard course, and day trips. We have also recently completed a 3 year review of our Aspirational Awards and the impact they’ve had. Over the past 3 years, we’ve awarded over £147,000 to 138 young people (not including figures from our most recent round in May). If you would like to find out more about how to support the Aspirational Awards please get in touch.
