Peterborough House Project Launch

Peterborough City Council is the first authority in the East of England to launch its very own House Project located at Chauffeurs Cottage in St. Peter’s Road. It was officially opened at a special ceremony held on 28 January.

We are delighted that CLNM has been recognised as a 2025 Big Issue Changemaker in the category of ‘Politics and Activism’. This award is a recognition of not only their hard work but the impact they are having on the sector.
500 young people living in their own homes
3rd December 2024
500 young people leaving care from LHPs across the UK have been supported to move into their first home and are living 'connected and fulfilling’ lives. It may have taken 7 years to support the first 500 young people into their first home, but we are expecting the next 500 young people to move in to their own homes by August 2026!

It was electric with mock interview's and speeches, creating opportunities like this is what the House Project prides itself on.

The National House Project has been awarded a £1 million grant from The National Lottery Community Fund to help 2,000 more care leavers secure homes, build independence, and shape services, expanding its proven support program across England, Scotland, and Wales while amplifying young people’s voices.
